C.A.R.E. Network Reaches Out to the Community with New Web Site

ICITA designs and launches a new web site for the C.A.R.E. Network of Summit County that integrates with the Tapestry system from the Mile High United Way.

Boulder, CO - April 27, 2004 - iCita (pronounced eye-SEE-ta) and the C.A.R.E. Network of Summit County started in late 2003 designing and building a comprehensive web site for the communities of Summit County, Colorado. The towns of Breckenridge, Keystone, Silverthorne and Frisco will benefit greatly from an increased access to the resources provided by the C.A.R.E. Network online. The new web site can be found at http://www.summitcares.org and features a Community Calendar of events, detailed information about becoming a C.A.R.E. Network member, and a comprehensive directory of health and human services that is tied into the Tapestry system operated by Mile High United Way (http://www.unitedwaydenver.org).

Utilizing iCita's strong working knowledge of Internet technologies, both the C.A.R.E. Network and iCita have built a strong foundation for growth on the web site. Future features will include a complete Content Management System, Members Only section and contact database. The importance of online systems that support the mission and vision of the C.A.R.E. Network and help facilitate better communication is the cornerstone driving the relationship between iCita and the C.A.R.E. Network.

The C.A.R.E. Network of Summit County is an organizational framework that will facilitate improvement in the delivery of prevention, intervention and treatment services to children, youth and families in Summit County. It is the belief of the founders of this system that health outcomes of children, youth and families will improve as a result of system improvements that will be facilitated through this system. The Membership of the C.A.R.E. Network is an association of providers (private, public and nonprofit) serving the children, youth and families of Summit County. The purpose of the association is to provide a mechanism that improves the capacity of these entities to better meet the needs of the target population.

iCita was founded in 2001 with a mission to assist in developing strategic Internet solutions for small- to mid-sized companies, helping them to increase revenue, exposure at the same time cutting costs.
